Rain, rain go away! Topshop/Miss Selfridge/Boohoo

So although there has been a hosepipe ban for some places in the UK recently. Here in Wales we have had ALOT of rain, hail, thunder and lightning, gale force winds...oh and more rain!
Today has been especially wet! So I have compiled my picks of some cute items around at the moment for anyone who wants to play in the puddles - fashionably.
First of all Topshop have some cute raincoats at the moment my favs are these ones, I think the powder blue one is my fav, but for wearability I think the clear one would be best to go with more outfits -

Next up are a few I found at Miss Selfridge, these ones are more feminine and lightweight, except the blue one which I think is a lovely vibrant colour (look below for some lovely wellies to match)-

Next up are some wellies, now there are alot around to choose from so I really had to wittle this down for you, so I have chosen a few different types, first up is a pair from Miss Selfridge, these are limited edition ones -
Next are Hunter wellies if you wanted to splash out a bit more, or looking to invest in a pair you can use for along time that will be long lasting for years to come -

Next I found these very very cute mini wellies on BOOHOO. You may notice a similar pair available in Primark and both are their own takes on the Vivienne westwood booties, I love the colour of these BOOHOO ones -

And lastly you cannot go out in the rain without one of these babies....a good umbrella!!! Here are a few picks -
Topshop -
Miss Selfridge -

I think I like the green topshop umbrella the most.

Hopefully the rain will turn to sunshine soon and all these items will then come in handy for festival season!

Thanks for reading lovelys!

Urban Outfitters bags that I love right now

I have always loved the accessories section of Urban Outfitters, in fact lets be honest, most items they sell are usually adorable! However I have found in the past that when I have bought bags, even though they can be a bit pricer (usually I buy in the sale) they are always very well made and feel expensive. I have 2 in particular that I bought 2 years ago now and have used them alot. One I use for interviews, and they just dont wear down! Thats my own experience anyway. So here are some they are selling right now that I am wanting (waiting to go down in the sales more like ) -

This is such a lush colour, Tomato Red! and its a satchel design so would be a lovely bag to take to work, it looks really soft too. They also have it in green which would look nice as an accessory to all the pastel shades around atm -
Up next is a bag that would be lovely for trips in the summer, to the beach or picnics -

The fringed look has been around for the last few summers now and this next one is usually the type you see around festival time and I will be getting one, if not this then one like it, for Reading festival this year -
This next one I just think is very cute and remind me of when I was a kid and wanted all these type of things but as I was so young I just had to look in awe at my older cousins and brothers gf's with them! And now they are back in fashion along with other 90s items, which I think is just so awesome! -
I would love to see copies of these last two bags in primark because they seem like the sort of style primark would usually go far, with the weekend bag and the brightly coloured handbag! Again both are very cute and I like them alot!

I think next payday is going to be an accessories frenzy!

Mac Nicki Minaj Viva Glam Lipstick

I know loads of other people have blogged about this, but I want this lipstick so badly! The limited edition Nicki lipstick by Mac. It looks so pretty and I find it hard to find pink colours that suit me for some reason they always look a bit weird on me, and this one seems perfect!

I have recently discovered this lovely lady's music! She is awesome and I cannot stop listening to her album - also I love her hair its so cute! I am now crushing on wanting pink bangs!

Her artist name is Grimes! Shes playing at Reading festival too which makes me want to go even more so I am now planning to try to book the august bank holiday off in work today and try to go, the cure are playing too and that would just be awesome! =]

Before I bleached my hair!

Can't decide if my hair looks better blonde or dark!

Art work I want on my wall

I recently came across some awesome artwork, I really want a few printed a framed for our new flat we are going to be moving into at the end of May. They are by an artist called Fabian Ciraolo and they are just so pretty and really cool too, using famous icons and re-working them into floral patterned graphics. Here are two of my favs:

I think they would look really pretty on a bedroom wall or even in the spare room which I will be using as a dressing room area!

Moving out time seems so far away at the moment!

Primark Haul April 2012

I havent been able to go shopping for quite some time and so I thought it was time for a trip to Primark, so this weekend I went to the Cardiff store bright and early and picked up quite a lot - I am planning to go back in a month or so and get some more fun items like bags/more shoes - for now though I will show you what I have bought this weekend! -

So first the only pair of shoes I got were these cute canvas navy shoes that I am going to try to see if I can get away with wearing in work, if not then I have still gained cute shoes to wear elsewhere! =] these were £8.

Next I got a few blouses they were all £10 each, mainly for work but again could wear them outside of work too, with denim shorts or skinny jeans!
Those last two are my favourite ones as the lemon yellow one is so summery and they are both really light with really pretty pleating in!

Next I got a dress - again I thought I should be able to wear this at work and it could also be worn outside of work too!  Plus I love my monocrome stipes I have about 5 dresses that are striped! This was £18 as it was in their specialised section which had more work wear in.
Lastly whatever you do never buy sheer blouses unless you own some of these - CAMIS! They are are bargain at £2 and £3! And they have them in various colours! I bought black, cream and navy as they were the main colours I needed for my blouses for work, but I really wanted the mint green and rust colour ones they had!
Other than that I bought 3 pairs of trousers for work which tbh are just plain, one pair is navy, the other black and one pair are red. Didnt think that they would interest anyone much so I didnt take pictures of them, however I can if anyone requests! =] I also bought a plain navy skirt from Mango which was my only purchase of the day that cost more than £20, it was £29.99 and thats also just a plain work wear knee length skirt!

I hope to do more posts like this one so I hope you will keep reading!

Thanks for reading! =]
